Our Story
About
Established in 2017, Rebel Fresh is an eco-friendly soap and skincare company catering to wellness-conscious consumers' desire for effective and naturally derived skincare. Deeply rooted in cultural wellness traditions that have been tried and true, Rebel Fresh is an all-natural skincare company using simple and few ingredients. Formulated and created to provide relief for people with skincare issues such as dry skin, eczema, and rosacea, and also for those who simply want carefree skincare products.
Rebel Fresh skincare products are manufactured by hand, from scratch using the traditional soap-making method (cold process). The soaps are then cured for 4-6 weeks before they can be sold. Our soaps are naturally scented with pure, high-quality essential oils and colored with natural clays only.

My Story
Ericka, a native of Brooklyn's Bushwick and Red Hook neighborhoods, respectively, stands as an accomplished entrepreneur with a culturally rich and diverse background. In 2015, prioritizing her well-being, she made the decision to close her Williamsburg, Brooklyn-based jewelry boutique. This marked the beginning of a transformative journey for Ericka, who delved into holistic living and embraced a vegan lifestyle. Her personal struggle with eczema and sensitive skin became the catalyst for extensive research and the creation of her own remedies, giving rise to Rebel Fresh.
From a kitchen recipe to a flourishing company with a dedicated studio, Rebel Fresh is a testament to Ericka's entrepreneurial and healing spirit. As a devoted mother of two daughters, her commitment to their well-being naturally extended to a broader community. Over the past 15 years, Ericka has actively managed youth development initiatives and programs in Brooklyn and Harlem. Currently serving as the Community School Director and Social Worker at a Brooklyn High School, she embodies leadership, education, wellness, and compassion for all.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Ericka holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Currently pursuing her Doctorate, she aspires to leverage her education and wellness lifestyle to create something sustainable and accessible for everyone. Grounded in passion and love, she remains steadfast in her dedication to making a positive impact in her community and beyond.
